Challenges of the institutionality in parvular education in chile. Analysis from the educational reform 2014–2018
Abstract
There is consensus among the various political sectors that investment in the first years of life is key to the development of the country, especially in terms of early childhood education. Thus, the strengthening of institutions acquires a transcendental value in the implementation of public policies that involve this level of education, allowing, if these are successful, the efficiency and effectiveness of a system that has been forgotten for years in the national social policy. The objective of this research is to describe and analyze the Chilean Early Childhood Education institutional system incorporating the recent institutional changes brought about by the educational reform promoted by the government of President Michelle Bachelet. The results show the importance that Nursery Education has acquired in recent years for the country and allow to project high impact public policies for development where children are promoted as subjects of law.Keywords:
